What is giftlist?
Giftlist is a free app where you save things you like for your birthday or any occasion. Make a list, private or public, share it with friends near your birthday and you will get exactly what you wanted, without you seeing who or what was bought.

Why use it?
Don’t know what to get someone for their birthday?
Whether you find it unpleasant to ask or you just don’t want to ruin the surprise, Giftlist allows you to pry and get ideas, or buy something from the list anonymously.
Getting bad gifts on your birthday?
If you ever had to fake a positive reaction before (and trust me we’ve all been there), get on this moving train. Install it, make a list, and share it to your friends or pin it in your bio! You can’t make it more obvious or clearer than that.

Open this page on your phone, or pick yours below.
The app isn’t on Google Play yet, but you can sign up as a tester. Use the email you use for Google Play.
Used to add you as a tester and nothing else.
Or use the web appGiftlist isn’t in the App Store. Instead, add the web app to your Home Screen: it opens full screen with its own icon, just like the app.
- Open getgiftlist.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open Giftlist from your Home Screen and sign up there. (Safari and the Home Screen app don’t share a login, so do this step from the icon.)
Turn on notifications in the Home Screen app to get birthday reminders.

Tap Share and choose Giftlist to save something from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, wherever you happen to be at 2am.
Organization
Pinterest-like layout for easy navigation. Aesthetics are nr. 1.
Sort by categories and choose colors for your lists. Make it look like you.
Sharing
Make private lists for yourself. Make friends-only lists for upcoming parties. Make public lists for birthdays, Christmas and other occasions. Share them anywhere or pin them to your bio.
Claiming
Claim an item from someone’s list, they will never know you’re buying it for them! Let everyone else know you called dibs :)
Is Giftlist free?
Yes, saving and claiming will always be completely free.
Due to hosting costs, Giftlist limits the number of pictures a user can add to 50. On average a Giftlist user saves between 5 and 20 items in a list. Pictures that come from a link do not count toward your limit, only the ones you upload yourself from your gallery.
For heavy-use users, who want to save 100 items, there will be a Pro plan available soon. (!!)
